Bahrain Mirror: A Saudi child sustained critical injury today (Saturday March 11, 2017) after Saudi forces raises an old neighborhood in the Al-Awamiyah town in the Eastern Saudi province of Qatif.

Social media activists said that Saudi forces launched a sudden attack on the Masoura neighborhood, in Al-Awamiyah town in Qatif. As a result of the attack, 16-year-old Saudi Wald Al-Arid sustained injury due to 3 live bullets (two in his head and 1 in his hand). He was rushed to the hospital.

Activists circulated images and videos on the damages caused by the attack, showing blood stains on the ground.

Saudi authorities conducts sudden raids every once in a while in Al-Awamiyah, under the pretext of looking for fugitives. Authorities have also escalated measures against residents of that area, as they deprived them of water and electricity, in preparation for demolishing the neighborhood, whose residents refuse to leave.

Saudi authorities have been using excessive crackdown against the residents of Qatif in general, and Al-Awamiyah in precise. A few days ago, authorities killed young activist Mostafa al-Madad.
