Bahrain Mirror: Dr. Noria Al-Awadhi, Director General of the National Bureau for Academic Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance (NBAA) in Kuwait, said that the American new York Times newspaper published last May two reports; one about fake diplomas and another about sham universities, which grant diplomas that aren't accredited.
Al-Awadhi added in her statement that the number of people with fake diplomas in the Gulf States are as follows: 1,216 in the United Arab Emirates, 1,198 in Saudi Arabia, 278 in Kuwait, 81 in Oman and 70 in Bahrain.
